Chocolate Mint Brownies

Brownie
1	C	all purpose flour
1/2	C	butter or margarime, softened
1/2	tea	salt
4		eggs
1	tea	vanilla extract
1	Can	chocolate-flavored syrup (16 oz.)
1	C	sugar

Combine the first seven ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at med. speed for 3 min.
Pour batter into a greased 13"x9"x2" baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. (top of brownies will still appear wet). Cool completely.

Filling
2	C	confectioner's sugar
1/2	C	butter or margarine, softened
1	tbl	water
3	drops	green food coloring

Combine filling ingredients in a med. mixing bowl; beat until creamy.
Spread over cooled brownies.
Refrigerate until set.

Topping
1	pkg.	mint chocolate chips (10 oz.)
9	tbl	butter or margarine

For topping, melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat in a small saucepan.
Let cool for 30 min. or until lukewarm, stirring occasionally. Spread over filling,

To Serve

Chill before cutting.
Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 5-6 doz.
