Try this delicious low fat bread.
| 2 | C | peeled, chopped apples |
| 3/4 | C | sugar |
| 2 | tbsp. | oil |
| 1/2 | tsp. | baking soda |
| 1-1/2 | tsp. | baking powder |
| 1-1/2 | C | all purpose flour |
| 1 | tsp. | cinnamon |
| 1 | C | fresh or frozen cranberries |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1/2 | C | chopped walnuts |
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a loaf pan. Combine apples, sugar and oil in a medium bowl. Add egg, mixing well. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Add apple mixture, just until moist. Stir in cranberries and walnuts. Spread evenly in loaf pan. Bake on hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
