THE ULTIMATE FIVE-MINUTE
FACIAL
TAKE
OFF YEARS IN LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES!!
Of
all the products I've used, all the exercises and advice
I've seen, NOTHING has ever beaten this quick and easy
recipe for taking a decade or more off the face and
neck...or, if you have more than five minutes, the entire
body!
BROWN
SUGAR SCRUB
Preparations:
Stand by a sink, preferrably one with a sprayer
attachment, one with a faucet you can get your head
under, or in the shower or tub. Have the following items
within reach:
Teaspoon
Open dish of finely ground brown sugar (Use the spoon to
crush or stir out any large lumps)
Clean towel
Vitamin E or other moisturizing lotion
Dish for warming lotion
If
you have a single-control faucet, adjust the water to
VERY warm (NOT hot) and turn it off. Keep the handle in
the same position so the water will be at the same
temperature when you turn it back on.
Use any good moisturizing lotion, body lotion, face
cream, etc., ESPECIALLY one high in Vitamin E. Vitamin E
lotion, cream or capsules are not terribly expensive and
a little goes a long way. The capsule can be snipped open
and the oil squeezed into your palm.
If it's in a tube, loosen the cap and gently squeeze out
any excess air before replacing the cap. If in a bottle
or jar, loosen the cap slightly, then place it in a
shallow dish of very warm water, in the sink or in a
slightly larger container for a minute or so. Dab a
generous amount only on the fingertips, rub them together
and, using only your fingertips, rub into face, neck and
anywhere else you want it using a small, circular
motions. Don't slather it on, but don't be skimpy,
either. When you finish, you should be able to see the
lotion on your skin.
Pour one teaspoon of finely ground brown sugar into one
cupped hand. Using only what drips from the fingers of
the other hand, add just enough ALMOST HOT water to
dissolve the sugar slightly.
Dip
your fingers into the brown sugar mixture and rub it
lightly but firmly over the moisturizer on your skin,
getting into all the creases around the forehead, nose,
eyes, laugh lines and on the neck. If the mixture starts
to dry, run a little more water on your fingertips, or
add more lotion. Once you have enough of the mixture on
your skin, rub your hands together to apply the rest of
the mixture to your skin. Rub well in small circles for
about 2 minutes.
DO NOT rub hard! Only use a slightly firm pressure.
Rinse off thoroughly
with warm water and pat dry. Then, go look in a mirror.
You WILL NOT believe the difference!
This formula (only more of it, of course) can be used in
a bathtub or shower for an entire body scrub too!
I
first discovered it during a gift visit my husband gave
me for an all day spa treatment. I don't know what kind
of oil they used, although I suspect it was Vitamin E.
I
bought some Vitamin E cream from the Image Recovery
Center at the cancer center I go to, and find it works
better than whatever they use at the Day Spa. The image
recovery center is a full-service spa and beauty salon.
Since I lost 50 pounds in three months, I've had a turkey
neck with vertical folds from my chin to my collar bone.
GONE!
I've had creases in my forehead for years. GONE! Smooth
as a baby's bottom! And GLOWING!
On my next visit to the Image Recovery Center, the owner,
Carol (right), came out to the
waiting room to talk to me. When I told her about this
treatment, she was amazed. Although she's a fully
certified cosmetologist, she'd never heard of it. And
when I told her to look at my "turkey neck with the
fan folds," she said, "What turkey neck?"
To which I replied, "Works, doesn't it?"
Since
then, Carol has told me that she tried the Brown Sugar
facial and LOVES it. She is now offering it in her spa.
It sounds messy, but if you have a sprayer on your
kitchen faucet, it's perfect and takes less than 5
minutes, start to finish. If you're in the shower, you
can give yourself an all-over body scrub and then just
rinse it off. You won't BELIEVE how your skin feels and
looks!
This should be done NO MORE than two to three times a
week with a day or two in between. It WILL exfoliate your
skin, clean out the pores and leave your skin glowing. If
overdone, I imagine it would leave you with a lot less
skin and a lot of irritation! So be generous with the
lotion, keep the mixture warm, always rinse thoroughly
and have all your ingredients and a clean towel handy.
Just don't overdo it!
Remember
that whatever you don't rinse off will very likely be
sticky and who knows? It may attract more bees than
honey!
Believe me, you will be telling everyone you know about
this treatment as soon as you try it! GO AHEAD! ALL women
should have the chance to look their best!!!
Don't forget to have someone take before and after
pictures! You'll be proud to show them to the world!!
[Maybe even in At Home!]
