Neiman Marcus Brownies

| 1 | box | butter pecan cake mix
|
| 1 | stick | melted butter
|
| 1 | | egg
|
| 1 | cup | chopped pecans
|
| 2nd Layer | | |
| 1 | stick | butter
|
| 1 | (8 oz.) pkg. | cream cheese
|
| 1 | tblsp. | vanilla extract |
| 1 | tsp. | powdered sugar
|
| 1 | cup | chopped pecans
|
- First layer:
- Mix butter and egg; stir into cake mix.
- Add pecans and press into sprayed pan.
- Second layer:
- Beat butter, cream cheese and vanilla with a mixer.
- Add powdered sugar.
- Add pecans and spread on top of first layer in pan.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
- When cool, cut into squares
