50+ Library

The 50+ Friends Club has been going strong since its  inception in 1996.  We've come a long way since those early days when we were all nervously feeling our way around the Net.  Visit our archived material from "those crazy, laugh-filled days" when we truly DID "roll on the floor laughing".  Long-time members, in particular, will enjoy reading the first newsletters and seeing the original 'bio' list of very familiar handles of people who have moved on, but will never be forgotten.

TUTORIALS: Reduce Image Sizes and BCC mass mailings. TUTORIALS

Okay!! So here's the scoop.  We all learned how to compose and send jokes and letters via EMail.  And then we learned how to attach photos so friends and families were able to see our newest grandchild or pictures of our latest vacation.  Let's take it a couple of steps further and learn how to respect the privacy of other peoples' EMail addresses by not displaying them for everyone on your EMail list to see, never mind the possibility (probability) of spammers snatching those valuable little jewels up.  Let's also learn how to 'reduce' those picture sizes so that when your grandson arrives in your friend's inbox, he/she is privy to seeing more than just an eyeball.
